Schedule of Fees: Fees charged for services provided by this office are the result of legislation passed by the Ohio Legislature and reflected in the Ohio Revised Code (ORC). Unfortunately, County Recorder's ARE NOT PERMITTED to establish the fees charged for the offices they are elected to administer. Lake County Recorder Frank Supocic has argued long and hard to Ohio Legislators that the fees charged in this office are unfairly excessive for a transaction-based office. Despite such arguments, Recorder fees were doubled by the Ohio Legislature and will be effective as of August 1, 2003.
