About Frank A. Suponcic:

Frank A. Suponcic was elected Lake County Recorder in November, 2000. He is proud to offer online document index searches for all documented records from 1986 to the present.

He is a lifelong resident of Lake County and a 1980 graduate of Mentor Lake Catholic High School and a 1984 graduate of John Carroll University in University Heights, Ohio where he earned his BSBA degree with a major in accounting.

Frank, employed in public accounting since 1985, remains on staff as a principal in the litigation support group at Skoda, Minotti & Co. certified public accountants of Mayfield Heights working on a part-time basis. His concentration is in the area of investigating and preventing fraud and embezzlement for privately held entities. He also serves as a financial and tax advisor to individuals and business entities as well.

He is a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and an Associate Member of the Northeast Ohio Chapter of the American Institute of Certified Fraud Examiners. He is a 1996 graduate of Leadership Lake County and a Past President of the Willowick Chamber of Commerce. He remains a member of both the Willowick and Mentor Area Chambers of Commerce.

Frank was elected, at the age of 23, to Willowick City Council to represent Ward II and was re-elected to five more consecutive two year terms. At the time of Frank's resignation to move outside of Willowick, he had the honor of being the longest serving Ward Councilman in Willowick history.

He resides in Mentor with his wife Linda, and daughter Lexi.
